Focus Group Facilitator

We're recruiting sessional Focus Group Facilitators to support the delivery of the Health Horizon Focus Group Project.

Facilitators will lead small, inclusive group discussions with adults living with chronic illness and long-term health conditions, helping to ensure lived experience meaningfully informs wellbeing services and community support.

Sessions will take place between April and October and may be delivered online, in person, or in hybrid formats.

You are not expected to provide advice, therapy, or follow-up support.

  • Facilitate structured, supportive focus group discussions

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful space for participants

  • Support balanced participation and manage group dynamics

  • Capture and submit anonymised session summaries

We’re keen to hear from people who have:

Experience facilitating focus groups, consultations, or group discussions

  • Strong listening skills and confidence managing group dynamics

  • A commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed practice

  • An understanding of accessibility, fluctuating health, and energy levels

Lived experience of chronic illness and/or disability is highly valued.
