We’re a strong community of people with disabilities and non-disabled people with a shared vision of equality and measuring our success not by monetary size but more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts.
Juliana
DEA Chair & Founder
Juliana founded Disability Equals Ability in 2021 and currently serves as the Chair, providing expert oversight to the executive team. With a background as a support worker and registered Social Worker, she has extensive experience working with disabled young people, adults, and their families.
Faith
DEA Trustee & Dedicated Activist
Faith is a dedicated activist, humanitarian, and advocate for marginalised communities, with a strong focus on Black/African communities. Faith is also one of the owner/directors of the Patricia Jabangwe Children's Home, providing a safe haven for vulnerable children.
Joyness
DEA Trustee
Joyness is a lawyer with over eight years’ experience in the public sector in Zimbabwe, providing free legal services to indigent persons and vulnerable groups. She is passionate about advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities and promoting equality through empathy, integrity, and accountability.
